What is TCM?

Traditional Chinese Medicine is an energy regulation system that is more than 4,000 years old. It is based mainly on the concept of Qi, which is the energy that flows throughout nature. Various pathologies can appear in our body, mind, and spirit when it becomes unbalanced in our being for different reasons.

Acupuncturists use different therapeutic techniques to try to promote the lost balance. The most used are Acupuncture, Moxibustion, Qi gong, Cups, Phytotherapy, Auriculotherapy, Meditations, Massages …

Traditional Chinese Medicine is complementary to Western Medicine. Can work altogether without any collateral effect.

What pathologies can be treated?

It can treat all kinds of physical, mental, and spiritual pathology.

We insert fine needles into points of the body to encourage the body to return to its state of natural balance.

We apply heat with a mug of mugwort to specific body points to encourage the body to return to its state of natural balance.

Qi Gong

It is the art of circulating vital energy most appropriately.

Suction cups

We place suction cups at specific points of the body from which the air is extracted.

Oracular Book that helps to understand what attitude should be taken to understand the meaning of a specific situation

Certain stimulation points on the pinna to drive the body back to its natural state of balance.

We seek to quiet the mind so that we can better hear what is happening in our depths.

My Story

Agustín Rivadaneira

Licensed in Chinese Medicine

My name is Agustín; I would like to tell you about my Traditional Chinese Medicine path briefly.

Many years ago, I gave my girlfriend a rabbit for Christmas. She had had rabbits as a child and loved them deeply, so it occurred to me that it would be a lovely gift. The moment they met, you could see that crush of love that loves have at first sight; it was as if they knew each other from another life.

Over the years, our relationship grew, and the three of us decided to go live together. In the beginning, everything was beautiful, and we made a great team. The problem arose when we found out that I was allergic to Juana’s hair. The situation became complex since the most straightforward way out was not the way we wanted to take. That’s when I decided I wanted to cure myself of the allergy. I began to treat myself with “conventional” medicine and did not have great results. I understood that I had to keep digging deeper. So I tried different alternative therapies. I immediately found Traditional Chinese Medicine: a before and after in my life.

I felt I had found something I didn’t know I was looking for from the first moment. The days went by and, as my symptoms decreased, my questions, readings, and practices increased. So I decided to study the career. At that moment of my life, I entered this passionate path that makes me happy every day…

Today Juana is no longer with us, but I thank her deeply for having crossed my path.

Thanks to her, I was able to find my vocation. She was my first teacher
